HazzaB a very nice Sierra in Cherry. A good transition from the barrel to the hardware and an excellent finish to the pen. Normal American Cherry has a very subtle color and grain pattern and is sometimes lost in the form of a pen. But Cherry Burl is the complete opposite. I have some locally grown Cherry that I have yet to cut, so the comparison in colors will interest me between each type. A well crafted pen to be proud of.

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the comments, they are appreciated, I have a few peices of exotic (well they are to me) timber that I got out of a box from my late FIL's shed, Ossage, Hickory and some thing with no label, thay all look interesting, I will get some pens done and post them up. I am having a couple of weeks off soon, and once some home maintenance is completed (To her Satisfaction) and then it'll be shed time, so watch this space.
