Off to china part 1
Hi all,
I have a new client, who lucky for me has a self confessed pen fetish ,
It all started by giving him a JR gent as a Xmas gift (my wife is a personal trainer and he is one of her regular clients at the gym)
now he has a range of pens that he alternates on a daily basis, one of which is a montblanc and since he has been using the JR I gave him he said the shape and feel of it has caused him to put all of the others away and exclusively uses mine Even the montblanc,
so fast forward a couple of weeks and as he is a businessman that travels O/S all the time he has worked out that my pens are great gifts to give to his O/S business associates, which is great news for me,
So with very, very short notice he asked for an Australian timber pen to take to china as a gift, I had 3 which I was close to finishing so I got stuck in and this is the first one he chose
A JR Gent wrapped in Brown Mallee burl finished with about 12-15 coats of CA then micromesh with a bit of a polish afterwards,
hope you like it as much as he did

Cheers Ben,
C & C welcome

Coal to Newcastle
That reminds me of the old saying Ben, sending it back to where it came from.
Nice job on the pen by the way. Love the background you have used for the pic.
Cheers,Ian"The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.. it can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better"

I agree it is a good pen. Personally I do not like the Montblanc pens so I understand where your client is coming from.
