They are sold at planks so you will have to check to see if the sellers have small lots.

Well so far im not having much luck finding any so might have to think of some alternatives that look similar ?

I'd suggest Qld Maple ans Silver Ash as alternatives, both easily available in Aus. The Qld Maple can be figured giving a better pen anyway. Silver Ash as a pen is a nice light colour, but relatively boring, but no real grain patterns.

Was there a reason they specifically wanted those species?

Thanks for that i have just asked if there was a special reason and if not will the above timbers work for him. lets hope so lol
