    G'day Troy

That's a pretty mad looking pen!

Just a couple of things to note on the pics:
Similar to what Big Shed said recently, the pics just need to be a bit brighter, and there are two ways to do this (depending on your camera):
    1. If the camera can be set to manual then you need to choose a wider aperture (smaller f number) to let in more light. This is preferable to #2
    2. Put the current pic into some software (Photoshop, Picasa, or whatever came with your camera, and go to the "Brightness/Contrast" settings and give it a bit of a boost - you may have to subsequently increase the contrast a litte, as increasing the Brightness can often give a slightly milky appearance (this is why it's best to start with the correct exposure in-camera).

For the background I would suggest a one-piece sheet of paper or cloth so that you don't get the horizontal line across the back (which is distracting).

Once you have had a bit of experience with the light tent you'll probably know exactly what aperture to use, but until then it's good to use different apertures so that you can pick up on which is best for brightness.

Yes, better Troy - just a little more brightness and you'll be there. Basically keep making them brighter and nrighter until the highlights blow too far, and the one before that should be the one.

Nice work on that one Troy ,these can be a bit challenging like most dissimilar materials blanks, pays to keep the thin CA up to them to stabilize them as you go, although those were probably stabilized before casting cheers ~ John
