    Default Cigar Cast in Resin with embedded Sheoak Pods

    Hi All,

    Here is my very first attempt casting the Sheoak pods.
    Reasonably happy with the way it turned out, I would have been happier if I got a little more of the purple colour through the blank.

    Always hard to get multi colour resins and seed pods the way we want, too soon and the colour blur, too late and the resin doesn't penetrate

    I think you got it pretty right ,you don't want to overpower things ,it looks like a burl almost in the pictures and a touch of color just to add to the mystery of it all hehe, cheers ~ John

    Yeah Tony I like the look of the pen. I think its come up quite well and I'm with sam not sure with the purple. Can't wait to get my chamber up and running I am waiting on the order from curtis so then will see what we can do.
