    Default Circuit Board Pen

    Printed Circuit Board cast in clear resin. On a Sierra Ti Gold and Black Ti Sierra kit. The blank came from the US.

    They look good, are they a real CCA or a print as I have had a go at doing this myself with no luck.

    I've held one of these. Veeeery nice. And I don't even like pens. It is real circuit board. Surface mounted components. The theory is that the backing is sanded thin enough to curve around on a linisher.

    I too like these pens and you did a great job with it. I just ordered a whole bunch of kits yesterday and will add those to my line. Hopefully there will be enough computer geeks around to buy them. What are you going to sell it for if you do not mind me asking???

    My question is, what sort of resin (name/brand) is used to do these type jobs?

    They are done with Polyester resin you can get a craft stores.

    Yes, the only special thing about them is the skill to get the boards thin enough to wrap (which is not easy), otherwise they're just like label casts.
