    Default Click Sierra

    Evening all,
Just finished my first click Sierra and have to say I quite like them... think there will be more of these in my future pen turning. The wood is Dot Ebony which I got through the pen swap (thanks George) finished with Rustins. I keep thinking it looks like a dairy cow... anyone know a dairy farmer who wants a new pen.

Nice looking pens, what is the mechanism like on these, is it as solid as the twist sierras.

Nice looking pen. I've never heard of that timber. It looks very fancy.

Very nice Corbs, great match of timber and kit.

Slyffer, I did one of these at the start of the month and it is now my regular pen and the mechanism is very smooth and positive
    Cheers

    Thanks team,
Slyffer, the click mechanism is quite smooth and feels nice. Am thinking of using this as my work pen for a while to see how it goes with repeated use but comments on the forums have been favourable so I don't anticipate any problems.

Cisco, I hadn't heard of the timber either. I did a google search with limited results but found a hit which also called it Dalmation Ebony. I have a few other bits of wood from the swap so there may be more to follow.
