That timber without burl is great. That piece is stunningly figured, thats an awesome pen. Wife saw it and said "you'll be doing pens like..." i cut her off before she finished with "It'll be quite some time if ever.."

Fantastic job on the closed end design. Wood just doesn't get much better than that!

Ben,
That pen in the hand is a riot of colour and deep as the tree was ever, no mystery about the pen kit either very affordable and good quality from Ed Brown priced around Streamline kits.
Endless shape fits the masculine pen it is.
Yet another super pen, kit and caboodle.
Cheers mate.
Kind regards Peter.Nil Desperandum

Ben, firstly, what a magnificent piece of Cocobolo Burl, there is so much going on within the blank itself. Secondly, I love the closed end form and design of the pen. The only thing is the Triton kits I have seen have a gold band at the coupler end of the cap. The single chrome band looks good how you have done it on your pen.

Hey Ben,
Beautiful job there ,
The kit looks a bit like a Barron that David sells, did you buy your Closed end Mandrel or did you make it ???
The Finial looks awesome, any tips on how you achieved this
