    Default Commemorative Pen

Toasty asked for it well here it is a commemorative pen to celebrate my wifes good news.

The blank came from Artme's GTG last week end, thank you Arthur. I have identified it as Camphor Laurel and I think it is X cut. The kit is from Brett, been lurking for a while waiting for the right blank. The finish is WOP as usual and then cut with fibreglass polish and a finish polish of Meguires plastic polish. It has come up a treat.

Nicely done. That color timber goes very well with that particular kit. What a wonderful way to celebrate your good news.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

    Question

Sam, it can't be CL. Doesn,t smell right. Smells nice but not like CL.
Ah well. It is beautiful timber, whatever it is.
