A Trio of Sierra's
Winter is over and I can use my garage and the lathe.
This is some Sierra's that I finished with EDBLYSARDS Lacquer Dipping method.

Great pens... as already said, what are the woods?
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Rhossack, a nice trio of pens you have made. As others have said what timbers have been used. I particularly like the colour of the blank on the Black Titanium Elegant Beauty, the other two blanks also compliment the platings on the Sierras used. I can't see anything wrong with the Titanium Gold with the fit, sometimes it is hard to see things at an angled perspective. Either that or Funky mate you got better 20/20 vision than me.
I do like the finish the lacquer dipping gives and respect peoples reasons for why they use it. Alas I am somewhat impatient and could not wait for it to dry. One day I will try it.

Thanks ... the pen on the left is Spalted Apple and the one on the far right is Spalted Birch, the one in the middle is Honduran Rosewood.
