    Default Conkerberry bush

Love this exciting coloured timber. My mate who is now retired from gathering this timber in Northern Australia told me its a mongrel to harvest. The 4 metre high bushes grow in groups ,covered in thorns and inhabited by Snakes.
He used to hook after cutting near the stump and pull it using a long hitch.

The Australian Aborigines covet the fruit called Native Plum.

Termites eat the centre out of most every piece.
