Looks good John, seems to suit that kit.

How are you finding the Phoenix so far ?

Ironwood ,I rather like them as they are a bit longer in the barrels than a sierra ,and tapers from about 9/16 " at the centreband down to the same size as a sierra at the clip end, plenty to play with to show off your nicer blanks ,and room to do embedded casting for those who like doing there own. It also allows for the nib to be unscrewed to change refills ,so no need to pull the pen apart as in the sierras and the like .So a good solid kit with plenty of dress up options cheers John

They sound good John, I hope one of the Aussie suppliers pick them up.

Hi John. I see you are still doing the braiding casting and this one looks good. I am not a fan of the kit but the braiding sure looks great. Thanks for showing.

Thanks JT, this is the last of my stock of copper Braid , so I put it on something that would show it off nicely . These kits are very solid and the body size leaves room for lots of possabilities ,watch parts feathers etc slightly longer than a standard sierra ,but quite comfortable to hold and use Cheers ~ John

I don't usually like different metals mixed together, but that looks pretty good.
