CORYMBIA maculata AKA SPOTTEd GUM
I have never seen it in Burl Form glad I found this one blank from the Southern Tablelands in Queensland. Forever I have had it in Hammer Handles etc.The tree is smooth Gray white bark that sheds in flakes revealing conspicuous spots hence the common name. Indiginous to Australia.

That's a lovely grain, Peter, and great to see the Penpal trademark beads and coves. Improves the look tenfold.
