    Default I Just Couldn't Wait!!

To turn on of Larry's Knots ( Larry in Harrow PTP Forum )that I got in a surprise package on Friday.
It's a Cherry Burl with a Holly and Black Dyed Swiss Pear Veneer!
What a fantastic job of laminating!!
It just doesn't get any better than this!!
Larry thought it would look nice on one of my Bullet Pens which will not be for sale at any price!

The Bullet Pen is a Brass Winchester .270 with a 150 grain Copper FMG Bullet for a nib.

It turned like butter and finished with 6 coats of Minwax Gloss Poly and applied 2 protective coats of Brazilian Caranuba.

    Thanks Larry!

Default From the book of Laminations

A very important page in the pen makers arsenal, I may say fully complemented by some craftsmanship and the application of precision having an overall lustre of the humble cartridge lifted to a new height.

Full marks to the two creators and the one maker of a beaut finished product.

Best wishes Peter. Also you brought with you many sensations so far.

    Russell.

I couldn't agree more. I wish I could do that.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
