looks good Troy
So did you get the mix to penetrate? And did it turn/finish like plastic all the way?Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Looking good Troy.
So your stabilizing system sounds like its a success, has it penetrated right into the wood ?

A couple of nice pens there
I'm interested in this acetone + perspex mix
did it soak in or did you have to use pressure
and what finish did you use over it
PS I just caught up with Ironwoods thread so I have a bit of an idea
I think most is answered there
but more info would be handyLast edited by Sawdust Maker; 8th January 2011 at 09:32 PM. Reason: add PS

Troy
Dissolve normally means separated or divorced from to me or disapearing, NO you proved me wrong it means added to or startling finish. My son in law used to use a proprietry brand finish called that, quite tough on noses I believe but beaut finish. Love it.Just my cuppa Milo that Spalt.
