    Ben,

Was wondering how well you went with the Juniors but now it is apparent let the timber speak for the pen I say. I dont mind hardware personally after all it can provide a buffer to wear and tear.

The sad Ram when the word got out there will never be another Ewe need not be concerned this Yew can look after itself with a display to stand in royal company with the immortal Huon burl.

On another forum Junior Gent Pens are holding their own so the outstanding special at Timberbits makes that a beaut proposition IMHO.

Timber rules I say your pens prove my theory in spades. In my massive clean up in the last few days my enthusiasm is burning brightly for outstanding variety and quality only sad thing for the forum a lot of names have faded from memory so if you see a question after a pen its not a competition to name the timber or the source.

Keep up the pens Ben I certainly will as I know you share the love of grain and the thrill of the chase.

    Kind regards Peter.

2 nicely turned pens there. Well done.
I like the extra touch of the endcaps

That Rosewood has some nice tight curls, very nice.

Beautiful looking pens there. Love the end caps - will have tio try it myself one day. Any tips? What shape do you turn the insert (ie, is there a tenon on it, etc)?

I really like that yew burl, but can't go past the ringed rosewood. Just sensational

    Cheers,
    Dave
