    hi guys
been a while since i posted a pen or 2 so i decided to make 2 great pens
the first is a 2 tone amboyna burl on a cambridge and the second is a american black walnut barron ( walnut from my australia day swap ) the walnut doesn't look as good as in the flesh but the 2 tone amboyna is sweeet

Both pens look great. Not that I know what I am saying, but the Blue acrylic you used detracts from 2 great pens. I do like the black walnut best tho.

Hey Troy, great pens . The Amboyna burl pen looks outstanding with that vein of sap wood running through it. Was it made with some of that exotic timber you found at the wood show ?.

Nice work but I agree the bright blue acrylic detracts from the pens. Well done though.
    Reality is no background music.

troy have to agree with others about the blue acrylic, maybe a light grey back ground would be better, or white. have to say the 2 tone Amboyna is the favourite of the two. Not that the walnut isn't nice, it is superb as well, I just like the rich timbers with a cream sap in them. Nice fit and finish a pair to be proud of.

    Cheers
    Darren

A couple of nice ones there Troy.

I like the 2-tone one as well.
