    Default Couple of new ones

The first is Lace She Oak on a Black TI Jr Gent II rollerball. I got this blank in trade with Bruce (Simomatra) and finally put it on a nice kit. I would rather have the wood speak for itself than a lot of bling on a pen but that's my personal tastes.
The second is Afzelia Burl on a Black TI Jr Gent II and was a mystery blank until I got help identifying it at the Desert Woodturners Roundup last weekend here. I thought it was Amboyna Burl but when I told them the spice ordor I got they were pretty sure it was Afzelia Burl, no matter what I love turning this blank. I need to get a different background for black finish pens though.

    Well done Jerry!
Great looking timbers on both kits.
Your fit and finish looks excellent.

From my humble experience, I would suggest you use a lighter back ground.
It will show off you completed great workmanship much better.
Especially with the darker plated kits and timbers.

Well done Jerry you have done a great job on both pens, some beautiful grain there. Wait til you try the ancient red river gum use a rhodium kit though.
