    Default A couple of prize winners

    Tried entering the local Show last week, and did reasonably well. Shirley. Not sure which pen won the turning section, as I did not get to the show for a number of reasons, so pictured both entries. (Only allowed two entries )

    Congratulations Shirley, handing in my entry form for the Bundy Show. They actually have a hand crafted pen section, so I will see how I go. Love the pens that you have done.

    Good luck Darren. There is apparently not much local interest in the wood work section at our show, so you are restricted to two entries per section. I got a second in the over 65 section for a candle stick. There is a local turning club here that I have yet to join, so I will endeavour to find out why the lack of interest in the show. Thanks for the congrats to all.

    Lovely shirley, well done, 'twas nice to have met you as well at the brissy wwshow breifly and i wish i'd have been more active recently on forum and to have had more time to chat pens with you in the lounge. Well done on the judging you recieved, a ribbon for the trophy case =), one day i'll get myself motivated to enter something like this, your an inspiration.
