A Couple From The USA
Hey All havent been on here for a while work and life have kept my bizzy but I had a few hour to play today thank god coz I needed it so I did a couple of pens. The first one is a Manhattan Rollerball wrapped with a wood called Pink Ivory sanded to 1200g and a little bit of BLO to make the colours pop and finished with wax the second one is a Chicago Ballpoint wrapped with a PR called Granite Impressions wet scoff to 1200g and finished with NP. It was nice to get back behind the lathe even the heat wasnt going to stop me today so I pulled the out lathe of the shed and put it around the side of the house in the shade just so I could turn with out dying from The heat in my shed thanks for looking Ian

Always nice to get a few under the belt hehe, if you neglect the addiction for too long it will come back and bite you lol, just ask Russell . I did a couple of the chicago's in rollerballs Takes a short Monte verde refill, seems the refills supplied with the pen are not standard ,about 5 mm longer than the correct ones this makes them a bit hard to assemble as not enough spring compression so are very tight, As I sell at the markets I am a bit worried about replacement refills for the general public so have kept them for the wife and I both easy pens to produce as the clip ends are already completed for you hehe. Nice job on those two though cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!
