    Default A couple of Vertex

A couple of vertex pens I’ve done over the last couple of weeks.

The European Walnut is the first one I did, kit picked up from Carrols just before Christmas. I wasn’t really happy with this one, although the finish is better than the photo indicates.

The acrylic is the second one I did last week. I think this one works much better. It’s my favourite pen at the moment and gets a lot of use at work.

I do have a bit of an issue with the click mechanism on the Vertex though, it seems a bit loose to me, kind of like the gear change on the old Holden station wagon I had when I first started working.

    Thanks

    Terry

    Thumbs up

Interesting kit. Seems a Beall machine would be useful with that kit.

    Default Terry

I agree the mech seems flimsy but they sure work well.

As les said they look good from here the Walnut has a neat figure in it.

    Regards Peter.

The Walnut was sanded to 400 then EEE and Glow.

Acrylic Micro Mesh to 12000 then car polish.

Thanks for the posetive comments guys.
