Skew I dont use paper I use the acrylic finishing pads they are brilliant,
but I have a secret recipe for polishing it. I dont turn totally by hand just the finishing details I use a router to take the majority off it saves me a hell of a lot of sharpening.

Skew Jim Carroll has them for I think it is $19.50 and you get 2 sets, they are easily the best thing for acrylics they start at 600 g and go to 12000 grit.

Acrylics
G'day to you all,
Thank you for your words about my pens. I am very fond of the acrylics some of them are just spectacular. I find them to be very hard on the tools though and I got sick of sharpening them, that is why I made my jig to use a router on my lathe to do the majority of the turning, it is just the finishing off that I do by hand. If you look at the pic where the acrylics are in a circle you can see pens that have a wide centre band that is ribbed they are the streamline pens but I am sorry guys I havent had a chance to make any of the new ones I have been so snowed under getting all this up and running but I will do some and post them on the forum.
