Gee Greg, what a great haul of exotic blanks. That should keep you busy for a while. Never heard of Bell Forest Products before, I'll have to check them out. Sounds like your going to have fun with the Snakewood. Hope you pens turn out like the one below, also matching pen case.

Now I'm jealous Greg. I've already blown my pen making budget this month, I'm going to have to wait till the next cyclone comes through to get some free wood ha ha

I will take special care with it and only use it for a special pen and then set the day aside.

Don't be jealous. I have to stock up now cause in 39 days I retire and then the budget will be a lot stricter and overseen by SWMBO so I will only be able to buy pieces I really need rather than on a whim. I am making the most of it now. I have to stock up on some good Huon Pine timber before then as I love it for its colour although it is a bugger for spitting out chunks from the tube when turning if you get just the slightest catch.

Been doing the same thing mate, though I have a couple of years to go before I retire.

    Les

If the turner was as good as the timber I'd be smiling. I'll have to get some better quality pen kits in for some of the timber.
