Thread: Delrin sources

You need to search for industrial plastics or engineering plastics. There should be a place or two locally to you that will sell it along with plexiglass/perspex, resins, glues etc.

I have seen it stocked at one of the bearing supply shops before.

In Australia they call it Acetal. Here are a few options:

You can also use Ebay searching for Derin Rod or Acetal Rod and it comes up with a number of sellers

Thanks guys, no luck at hobby shops but Profile Plastics sell a range in different diameters. Do you think 14 mm diameter delrin would cover most of the pen kits or would 20 mm be more useful?

Its not that bad hehe, and you can make a nice jet black pen using some of it as a blank cheers ~ John
