Desk pen in black heart sassafras
Was asked to make a pen and holder in a workmates favourite timber.
So made this - she is very happy.

So happy in fact, she has placed an order for a friend's birthday in Tassie myrtle

Very nice piece of workmanship, is the pen made from a desk pen kit or a twist pen kit. Have a feeling I am going to steal the design.

Is that a std streamline pen kit? If so, it matches very well. Like the plinth too

The pen is a standard streamline (from Brett)
the pen trumpet (?) was from Trend (I think)
The base is a piece of MDF trimmed on the table saw to whatever angle it was (15 or 20 degrees maybe) painted black, sassi stuck on, then ubeaut's shellacregards
