Nice pen Ian I like the colour too. What about shark skin or crocodile? Must be a big market for that too.

As soon as I finish my current contract I will be out fishing again . Unfortunately its been so long since I have been out on my boat, the steering is frozen up - so it will be a trip to my marine mechanic again before I can use the boat.

I can get plenty of fish skin but I really don't have the inclination to learn how to tan the skin at this stage - maybe when I am at a loose end after getting back to retirement again.

As for crocs - I will leave that to Crocodile Dundee but I am sure it can be purchased from the croc farmers.

Again, I am still getting over the failure of my 'bowl of fruit' pens so no rush to move onto new things.

I won't hijack this thread but I will post one in casting as I need some advice on polishing a block of resin.
