Love the pens...will have to attempt casting when the weather warms a bit!!

You can use the decals on wood also.

    1) Turn the pen and sand smooth to 2000 wet/dry paper.

    2) Apply one coat of thin CA to seal wood. Sand if necessary.

    3) Apply the decal and let it dry.

    4) Apply as may layers of thick CA as desired for depth.

    5) Sand sand/polish using 1500 - 12000 micro mesh. Use your favorite final finishing process that you would use on an acrylic pen.

A clear decal works best and blends in with the Ca and you can see the edges...Light wood I have found works better then dar wood but I've done antler as well.

For the decal paper try Decal Paper . They carry bouth injet and laser decal paper as well as tattoo transfer paper and other fun stuff. although I found the site on this forum they have an American counterpart which has the lowest prices I've found

The wood in the pic is maple on a chrome Wall St II (Seirra). This was a donate to Youth Ventures which has programs for at risk kids.
