drill bit query
morning all
a couple of years ago I bought a couple of drill bits from Brett of Addictive Pen Kits and I can't remember the brand name.
anyway I've looked at the shanks and there isn't a brand name. I can't ask Brett as he hasn't been on the forums for over a year.
anyone else buy them and know the brand? I can take a piccy later and post if that will help.
Thanks
(btw: I reckon they are better than the Colt bits in the smaller sizes)
PS if I recall correctly Brett had problems obtaining supply and could only get the smaller sizesLast edited by Sawdust Maker; 2nd June 2013 at 10:50 AM. Reason: add PS

I forgot I had two of those Dewalt bits Nick. But remembering back, they drilled very nicely.

Phone your DeWalt dealer in your state they are available individually my last small set bought at a tool sale and the DeWalt rep was there pushing his lines and a full set in the states is always cheaper but then freight and the almighty dollar fluctuations?. To give you a ball park figure I used to buy 50 at a time 7mm for around 5 dollars each cheap as for a quality drill, note the smaller size dont have the drill point up to around 5mm.
Kind regards Peter.Nil Desperandum
