    Thanks for the ideas guys. One thing I forgot to ask was what speed do you run your drill at? I set mine as per the chart for wood at 2400 rpm.

    I drill all my pen blanks at the slowest speed on my drill press (550rmp). Easy does it, especially for acrylics and dymondwood, heat is the enemy.
