Default Elegant Beauty Sierra - Circuit Board

    G'day All,
This just started as a curiosity project I just wanted to see if I could pull it off. The standard Circuit Board Sierra is fatter then the standard Sierra bot with some careful turning I managed to take a circuit board blank and fit it to a Berea Sierra Elegant Beauty Titanium Gold / Black Titanium it was very tedious but I think it turned out pretty good.
Sorry about the poor picture quality.

Doesn't the EB also have a different internal dia? Did you glue in a shim?

I did look at doing something similar, but my circuit board is to big (within the resin) and I decided I would remove too much of the chips.

Well done by the way, the gold Ti looks heaps better with the CB blank

Long time no see. Circuit board blanks continue to amaze me and yours is no exception, since I venture not into those kits I can not appreciate any difficulties only admire the finished product itself. In that it is cleanly cut, great finish and for me clear to view I am once again amazed and impressed.

Where did you buy the kit, who supplies them in Australia?

Kind regards to you and the missus. Peter.

    Neil,
The kit is a Berea Elegant Beauty it is the same size as their standard Sierras. All Berea Sierras have the same size tubes I just had to be very careful how much material I took off, I used a set of 20A bushes instead of the 50A that you are supposed to use on the Circuit Board Sierra. It is hard to tell in the pic but the blank has a bit of a taper at both ends so I could leave enough resin around the components in the centre of the board.

    Peter,
That kit is the Berea version of the Elegant Beauty they figured seeing how the other pen kit manufacturer is copying their kits that they would return the favour, just my personal opinion but I think the Berea kit produces a much nicer pen it is the same size as their standard Sierra I think the other brand Elegant Beauty is to small. As for who supplies them well like I said they are a Berea Hardwoods kit so I think you should be able to guess who has them.

    Good job Brett,
It is true that you have to be carefull which way around you turn the blank becasue of the position of the components under the resin,

I didn't know Berea had a EB, I was comparing to those other EBs. I'll have to change the labelling on my bushes from EB to OEB

Occasionally I have tried turning the snakeskins to a smaller diameter, as with that one, if you careful you'll get away with it. Well done Brett. Amos

    Nice work Froggie.

I have a bunch of what I think are nice wooden pens on my desk at work, and the one that always draws comments is the circuit board one I bought off you at the WW show...

I like this adaptation though. Would have been fun!

    Cheers,
