Default The Emperor Resurrected and a Jr. Emperor

Please excuse the photos, I am trying to eat lunch at 3pm and take photos and post at the same time, so i didn't set up the light tent, hence some "external" photos with a "shed" background.
Remember my post recently "the Emperor is fallen!", well finally made new pieces for him and put together again! dressin Xcut Osage Orange.
Also made a Jr. Emperor, and have placed it alongside "Snr." for size comparison.
    Comments welcome. Amos

    Amos

Man they are good looking pens. I love up market pens as they leave slimlines for dead. The kit and the materials they are made from compliment one another.

Great work, Amos, lovely pair of pens!

The finish on the osage looks good, what did you end up using?
Coffee, chocolate, women. Some things are better rich.

It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Great pen, Amos! That wood positively glows.

Thanks all so far, Bazza I like them too but as you know there is a limit to what you can spend to get them and get more, Dave the finish is CA/Blo, and a final coat of Shellawax glow. I went the CA way because the wood needed stabilising, there are some fine cracks in it, but they are stabilised now( held together by CA!). Amos

    Excellent Amos

Both kits look good and well finished; can't say which is better.

    Cheers, Evan
