Which epoxy do you use?
hi all,
I'm going to order some epoxy for glueing in pen tubes, but first i'd like to know what brands you would recommend so i don't buy something i shouldn't.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Reece

Reece! I have tried them all and have found the best one for me is the el cheapo brands from the $2 shops.. In fact I found it to be better than some of the more expensive brands. I used one made by Bostic and although it worked okay was about 6 times the money and no better than the cheap one and the smell from the Bostic one is foul.
Reality is no background music.

i did use the cheap stuff on most of the glue ups
but when i had a real scrappy piece of burl, i always went to the 24hr there is a big difference between them
now i use super glue and have just got some vice glue to try, i can't use epoxy due to allergic reactions

I use 'vice' polyurethane for wood (Bunnings sell it)
5 minute araldite if in a hurry
and always use a 2 part epoxy for acrylics - usually araldite 24 hour cureregards

Hey There,
I use araldite 24hr, I tried Superglue, have a few blanks with tubes only half in and some munted up ones I tried to push in, I can get West Systems pretty cheap, but not as cheap as Araldite.
