Default The most expensive pen in Oz part 2

Some time back I posted a picture of a sandalwood pen for sale in Broome, my neighbour had spotted it.

Well thanks to Graham, aka Sundowner, I have made her my version of the pen. I now boast having made the most expensive Christmas present I have ever given!

    Beautiful work.

Is there a trace of Sandalwood smell coming from the pen?

The sandalwood was a delight to turn and the shed smelt beautiful. I finish with a sealing coat of CA and then wax so I am afraid any hint of sandalwood is wishful thinking.

    Nice pen.

I love turning sandalwood and the Whiskey Barrel blanks as the smell is awesome. I tend not to clean up for a while after turning to let the smell linger.

    Cheers
