    Drilling at 700 RPM is way too fast and you are heating up the blank which will cause stress fractures inside the blank.
    Slow you drill down to 250-300 RPM.

    I agree.

    I use epoxy and leave it over night to cure, even when I was using the 5 minute stuff.
