A Father that Sings
I originally knew these as the Father Sing named after Dick Sing. Call them Streamlines, a fat Slimline but it will always be a Father Sing to me. It has gold fittings and dressed out with a Lime Splash blank from Wood N Workshop. I am not a green person but do use it occasionally, I like this one that Bruce has made. See what you think, comments welcome.
Cheers
Darren

Nice combination Darren, I havent heard the Father Sing term before.
I havent used one of those lime splash blanks before, but I do like the green and gold combination. Bruce's " Fern " blank is a favourite of mine, the customers seem to like it too.

Hey Ironwood,
Dick Sing was one of the original pen crafters and he has written a number of books on pen crafting and the he developed the pen we now know as the Streamline.

Darren,
The Dick Sing pen had unequal length tubes, a different Clip and Centre Band, I had the great pleasure to spend a day with Dick and his wife , he is a perfectionista re every small thing all measured on a micrometer, At the end of the day he gave me one of his kits and a preglued blank or two.
His book was the standard at the time then other books followed, small turnings etc.
IMHO a great guy, humble friendly person, much like yourself.
Kind regards, thanks for showing your Irish Pen. Peter.Nil Desperandum
