    Default Fathers' Day deadline

last one is on the lathe - should be finished tonight.

Attached are my latest batch of sierras.

A "purple pen" for SWMBO. Always helps to bump her orders to the top of the list

One for my daughter - her selection of blank. End product was a lot more presentable than I had anticipated. I actually don't mind her parading it around at kindy.

A beefwood pen for my Dad.

River red gum for a neighbour's Dad.

A successful acrylic, drilled without dramas using a modified drill bit.

Those are all great looking pens, well done! I love that you guys have wood that's called 'beefwood'.

Aussie woods are so descriptive in their names, and I've had a chuckle or two at some of them!

and a rescue effort, after blowing out two successive blanks just as the drill broke through the bottom, despite drilling slowly, and frequently clearing the bit.

I thought, cut-and-paste works in windows, let's see how it goes for pens.

Technically fine, thought I'm lukewarm on the colour scheme and proportions.

This pen went 'wandering' after a training session, but it was so obviously a custom-made pen, that once I asked around, it came back a day later.

    Cheers,
    Andrew

Did the other participants admire it as well.? Very nice pens,
