    Default My new favourite

    Hi everyone,

Here's a gunmetal grey Baron fountain pen from Timberbits wrapped in some cross-cut sheoak.
Coated with 21 coats of thin CA, then micro-mesh all the way to 12,000 grit.

I have added the upgrade quality nib, because this one is a winner.

I couldn't believe the grain pattern. Sorry about the overload of photos, but I wanted to share this amazing blank with you all. I'm not sure whether to sell it, give it as a gift, or keep this one. I love it... might hold on to it for a while.

    Comments welcome. Simon.
