    Default Some Feathers

Been experimenting with feathers, trying to get the process down pat, but I'm not there yet. Some work well, but then others don't, sometimes it is the glue other times it is the feathers. I'll keep trying when I get back from holidays down south, but thought I would show some of the better ones.

5 Dayacom Rollerballs, 2 parots, rosella (small black feathers with gold/green/blue rims), blue dyed Guinea Fowl, and a female Black Cockatoo. 1 EB in plain Guinea Fowl, and 2 Sierra Vistas, male Red Tailed Black Cockatoo, a parot, and one of Marla's pink Guinea Fowl blanks (to which I hope to aspire to ).

My favourite is the gren/blue/black parrot feather on the Dayacom Rollerball, the green and blue are iridescent and look amazing

    Cheers
    Neil

One word!! Stunning!! Looks like you are close to cracking the secrets behind making feather pens, or is it still going to remain a secret I really like the Rosella ones but I'm sure the Marlas pink will be very popular with the lady's.

    Thanks for sharing
    Cheers

Look out they do not fly out your shed. They look very nice. Rekon the more you do the better they will get. Congrats on your work.

We have a guinea fowl that is an absolute pea brain.... maybe you could turn him into something useful.

Each one is a real work of art Neil. I would definitely be putting those in the private reserve display in the pool room !.

Your feathered pens are simply stunning, they have the WOW factor. My favourite is the pink and black one. Congratulations on your works of art.

Nice work Neil, if you hadn't mentioned being close, I would have said you were there.
