Finally got the first one made
Photos of my first pen. Started with a streamline gold titanium kit with box elder. This is one of the blanks from Bench1holio that I kept, I gave some of the blanks away as a gift to my Dad who gets a few pens made as his health allows. I also designed a presentation box that uses a sliding dovetail along the length. The presentation box is made from red mahogany floor board. Took these pics with the phone but depth of field is not great so will need to use a proper camera next time.
Used 10 coats of thin CA, then micro mesh then a coat of Meguiars canauba wax, same recipe as Dad uses and they are quite durable.

Think there's more effort in the box than the pen.
