    Default finally some free time

well the christmas hassle has gone and we can all get back to everyday life

managed a RDO and no one home,,,, SHED TIME!!!!

i have been playing around with segmenting designs and the first and second pickies show a couple that will probably never become a pen, the experiment worked and i think i know how to fix the problems for next time

pickie 3 shows a standard Siera with a parker pencil insert Tallow/Red Gum and a Siera Stylus in Tallow/Blackwood these were destined to be a set but the tallow came up different colors, next time i will make them out of the same blanks

Pickies 4,5 & 6 are my newest Mecha, aluminum and copper crinkle with some armour plating all on an Ultra Cigar,, makes it sound like a big mac

    Thanks for looking C&C welcome

Yeah I agree the colours are just slightly different.

Very well done on the pens.

Very nice indeed. Shame about the colour in the Sierra's as they would have been a nice set.

on the first 2 tubes the segmenting didn't finish where i planned that it should, i should have used maths instead of guesswork

anyway heres a chance for everyone to try some guesswork, up for grabs is a set of the new Cigar Mecha blanks, there will be no clues and you have until midnight on sunday 12-01-2014 (australian date) to guess

the tube on the left of the first and second pickie, name the four woods used to create the blank

start at the top and work your way down, top and bottom pieces are the same so don't worry about the bottom one (theres a hint already)

i will only reply to a guess that have all four woods correct

    first correct guess wins

see how it goes i might give some niggles later in the week

    good luck to all
