    Default Flame Sheoak Pen

Hi all. This is my second ever pen. It's turned from Flame Sheoak and finished with wax. I gave it to a mate for his 21st on Friday and he was most impressed.

    Cheers, Matt
I'm confused??? Oh wait... Maybe I'm not?

    Nice job.
What kind of wax did you use for the finish?

Do find your pen fascinating with the pattern on the lower half. I have fun using Hairy Oak cum Flame She Oak cut across the grain, try this sometime it works for me, now having said this beware all cutting is against the grain, wait if you like to experiment. If I thought you might think it rude to submit a pic here to illustrate the difference so I will not.

Be assured your pen is striking and no doubt in time your pen designs will vary as with all of us at some time, indeed the pen will be quite comfortable to write with.

I look forward to your pens and thank you for that incredible pattern you revealed on this one.
