Should all Fountain Pens come with converters?
Hey All,
I got my first delivery of Fountain Pens kits today that only came with a cartridge - no converter. All of the other ones I've had to date have had converters, and I assumed that was the Modus Operandi.
Assuming it wasn't a packing mistake, what do you reckon. SHOULD all fountain pen kits come with converters?
I'll probably be faced with trying to find some 3rd party ones to try and buy now. Anyone know where to get just converters?

I always use my pens with a converter, so I would want to get one with a pen. Not sure if all kits include them. The ones I have bought have always had converters. Most pen kit suppliers can also supply extra converters. I imagine pen shops could too.
PeterThe other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

Unusual for kits not to have them, usually only the cheaper ones that don't. What style of kit were they?

Yep ! may be a supplier thing ,some provide and some don't,like new mandrels without spacers ,some come with ,some without , I think most of the fountain pens I have bought have had the converter supplied ,some folks don't want them when offered ,so they go into spares
