    Default FP with changeable parts

Haven't posted here in a loooong time, so I thought I might put this one up here. The pen sports acrylic caps and barrel. The ebonite section houses a semi-flex #5 Heritance medium point nib. It uses a piston filler converter. The black cap is all acrylic, and the "Metallic Silver" cap is adorned with a brass finial, I turned out on the metal lathe, then sent off for Rhodium plating at W.F. Scott & Co., Inc. I have many photos, but may be limited for posting here. Anyway, thanks for looking. Comments appreciated.

Yes, it takes me some time to make these pens, but oh the results! Not sure if W.F. Scott will ship internationally, but the cost for plating is LOW. Very reasonable, and top quality. There is no minimum. Thank you, for the compliment.

Great looking pens Chuck.......as if there is really any need to say how nice your work always is. Being able to consistently make the parts of your pens interchangeable is also quite a feat in of itself, speaking volumes about your skills.

You have really taken your work up to a higher level.
There must be a lot of satisfaction in creating pens like that.
    Well done I say.

Thank you Brad. Although I'm not much in the designing department, I do enjoy making these pen parts. It is very satisfying.

    Default Revised lower finial

It was suggested on another forum, by a friend, that the squared off lower finial didn't match the cap finial. So, I changed it. I think he was correct. I was focused on the center connection, and didn't even notice the difference in design.

Beautifully made pen Charles. One of the best I have seen and certainly comparable with some of the most expensive mass produced pens. Great work
