Fun package in the mail today!
Package of stabilized and dyed blanks showed up in the mail today. I was floored at the quality vs the stuff I have been using. I have a new contact and he sent me a good sample pack. Since I am new to pen turning, this is the first time I have seen dyed corn cobs. Anyone have pics of what they look like turned? I almost think I should save all of these until I get up to speed.

great catch, looks like some really good sawdust, i mean pens will come from those blanks
as yet i haven't done any cobbs but there are a few around here that have

Do a search you should find something and try IAP site they will defiantly have some there.

Very nice. I have seen corn cob pen done and they come up pretty good.
Reality is no background music.
