Gaspaite Roman Harvest
this is the third installment of gemstone/trustone Roman Harvest pens. I used the Gold Titanium with the Rhodium accents. The Gaspaite has been the hardest one to turn by far for me. Does not like any form of heat at all and when turning you have a hard patch then you hit a sft patch. A light touch and good hand control is a must. You can turn it proud and it will sand to final shape but that is not me. I will test myself to how fine I can go and how far I can push tolerances, hence why I had to make a second because I pushed too far and it exploded. This is Gaspaite Mark 2, mark 1 is in pieces on the shed floor, a piece in my chin and a piece in my left eye. Yes was wearing safety glasses but a bit got through. Anyway hope you like the 2nd attempt of the pen. Comments welcome.
Cheers
Darren
