Default Gator Jaw Jr Retro w/ Afgan Lapis

Here is pen I made for a friends sisters benefit. She is suffering from a very aggressive form of Breast Cancer. Dr's in the US have told here there is nothing they can do for her. She has two small children and decided that was not good enough for her so now she travels to Mexico for alternate treatments. This pen will be in a benefit to help her raise money.

It is Gator Jaw with Afgan Lapis that was brought back from Afghanistan by an Air Force Sgt while he was on duty there. It has a CA Finish to fill the voids in the bone. Took a lot of CA to smooth it all out. Kit is a Rhodium & 24k Jr Retro. I was going to pop the finial off but didn't want to leave just a single band of gold in the cap so I left it.

This pen was a bear but I am please w/ it. I told my wife if it does no bring in what I would sell it for I would buy it back for that price......I left out what I thought it was worth

C&C requested on the Pen and Photos please.

    Cris,

Thoughtful presentation for a wonderful idea to assist a person of family connection with a terminal illness now in need.

The gold helps follow with the similar colour on the Barrel of the pen, the Lapis a splendid idea contributing to an outstanding pen that is very eye catching and cleanly made and finished. still can imagine theres a Gator in there.

I trust the alternate stuff works I can assure you we several months ago deeply investigated alternate treatments I call it two bob each way and have done this many times for myself. Debilitating, cruel Chemo can be as devastating an experience my dearly beloved asked me to reshave her head yesterday as her hair is slowly growing again and she heard it helps good regrowth once before it grows again.

Love the colours you used in the Pen like to hear the result of your efforts, the receipt and the sale etc with prayers for the patient.

    Highly commend your participation.

    Kind regards Peter.

Very nicely made JT. It should sell well at any fundraiser. Colours are great.

Thank you very much Peter. It is amazing how Cancer just surrounds us now a days. I will keep you and yours in my prayers brother. The benefit is Saturday, I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks a ton, I sure hope your right. I would rather make one for myself than to have to buy this one back.

That's an awesome looking pen Chris. I think the gold finial works on this pen, I like it as is.

Hopefully it will generate plenty of interest at the benifit.

    Default Pen sold yesterday

Well we had the auction. The pen sold for $185. I was hoping for more but am happy that I was able to contribute to the cause.
