    Default Glitter Sierras

Before Christmas I did some glitter blank casting in my ResinSaver mould for Sierras.

This glitter is a bit different from the run of mill stuff, it has a needle like shape.

Did some gold and silver ones, gold one is on a gold Sierra kit from Timberbits, the silver one is on a chrome/gunmetal Sierra kit from Timberbits

Both were given away as Christmas presents and were appreciated by the recipients..

They look good Fred. Did you roll the tube in the glitter or mix it with your resin?

Tubes were rolled in Medium CA, then glitter spinkled on while wet, accelerator sprayed on before they were inserted in the ResinSaver mould. It's tricky job as you don't want to change the pattern of the glitter.

I did another series with a very fine white pearl glitter, tubes painted different colours before applying the CA and glitter. This gave very interesting results. Haven't put those on kits yet, will put up those pics when done.

    Default Hey there Fred

You give me shivers believe you are up for the Les award for encouragement with your photo presentation as well. All that glitters can be Gold and Silver doubly so cause they are all your own making.

Sweet as both pens and I wager totally accepted by the recipients as they deserve.

Well made and superb presentation Fred.

    Regards Peter.
