    Default More Gold

Some more wood p0rn for your viewing pleasure.
Sliced these bits up this afternoon. Should get a few respectable pens out of this lot too

Firstly some Red Beech from a tree that was blown down across the road from my parents house during cyclone Yassi

Next is some Cooktown Ironwood burl, these are some small slices off the side of a 40kg burl I've been carting around for about 15 years .

Make sure you put a pic up on the forum Troy, I am yet to turn a pen with this stuff, so I havent seen what it looks like in the round yet.

I also cut a couple of crosscut blanks out of it today, they should come up looking good too I reckon.
