Well this the first pen I have made from start to finish on my new Nova Comet II. It is New Guinea Rosewood Burl from Trevor at TG Creations. They have been sitting and drying for 4 months. The kit is from Timberbits, a posting JR Victor in gold. CA finish sande to 12000MM and a 4 stage buffing. Comments, good or bad on what you think and why, most welcome.
    Cheers
    Darren

Artme, I got the Comet through Taylor's Hardware in Bundaberg in Targo Street. I think they did it for $699 for me but will check my invoice. They also give you discount if you are a member of the Bundy Woodworking Guild. They went under in the flood so are rebuilding at the moment. Great local family business.

John you will have to get it out and use it. It cuts like a dream and has such a sweet aroma when being turned

G'day Ed, I have another 23 pieces, a few lighter in colour and some with contrasting sap wood but most like the JR Victor in colour. Just received 165 blanks from Shed Hunter, it is some nice locally grown and reclaimed timber I have had. Posting photos soon.

Lookin good Darren, I've got a fair bit of that NGR burl from Trevor as well, you've certainly done it justice with that one.
