    Default Gunmetal cigar and "Punga"

    Finished this one today ,I had no more market stocks of this style and was asked for one always the way . Have to chop up some more of this and get them cast ready for the next run hehe , Cheers ~ John

    Amos ~ "Punga" is the local name for New Zealand Fern palms , The black sections are as hard as Ebony, and the creamy sections are almost "pithy" also has a lot of water ways through the body of the timber so needs to be cast under pressure to make the whole thing solid enough to turn and finish, a bit of effort to produce ,but well worthwhile ,almost like natures way of segmenting hehe, Cheers ~ John
